"In my work I am interested in the juxtaposition of diverse elements; particularly the tension between beauty and decay. The interplay between memory, loss and regeneration motivate me. My projects take on many different forms, such as sculpture, installation, painting and drawing, or at times all at once. For the most part, I choose to recycle materials that that have been discarded in some way or another. Through my work I explore and define the unknown, the subconscious, the unseen in a suggestive, rather than a definite way. By leaving the pieces open-ended and ambiguous, I allow for the viewer to bring his or her own experiences and personal narratives to my artwork."
